Add a total of 5 drops of essential oil to 10 ml of carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Direct: Method Treat specific sites with one single drop directly into the skin. There are some specific cases where essential oils may be used directly on the skin. When a very small area of the skin is to be treated, the direct method can be applied. HOW: Add 1 drop of pure essential oil to the tip of a cotton bud. For example 1 drop of myrrh for cold sores. 1 drop of lavender for mosquito bites and apply directly to the site.
