Cough-Plex is a liquid herbal medicine traditionally used to support relief from cough symptoms, soothe throat irritation and maintain respiratory comfort. It is formulated for use during short-term coughs and periods of respiratory discomfort.
Cough-Plex combines herbs traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to soothe the throat, support the respiratory system and assist the body’s natural response to coughing. It is typically used during short-term coughs, whether dry or chesty, and periods of general respiratory discomfort. As a liquid herbal extract, it is absorbed readily and designed for flexible dosing throughout the day when symptoms are present. Cough-Plex is intended for acute use; persistent coughs (more than two to three weeks) or coughs accompanied by fever, breathlessness, or chest pain should be assessed by a healthcare practitioner.

Each 5mL contains liquid extracts:
Horehound leaf, Marrubium vulgare 1.5mL, equiv. dry 1.5g
Liquorice root, Glycyrrhiza glabra 500 microlitres, equiv. dry 500mg
Elderflower flower, Sambucus nigra 500 micro litres, equiv. dry 500mg
Thyme leaf, Thymus vulgaris 400 microliters, equiv. dry 400mg
Also contains water, ethanol, glycerol, lemon essential oil and aniseed essential oil.

Adults:
2-5mL three times daily.
Children:
3-12 years: 1-3mL three times daily.
Not to be used in children under 2 years of age without medical advice.
