Kelp is a sea plant extremely rich in vitamins and minerals, particularly the B vitamins and iodine, which are known to regulate metabolism through its role supporting thyroid gland function. Provides important minerals for nourishing and supporting the thyroid. Kelp has a reputation for helping with the temporary relief of the pain of arthritis, as well as for the relief of fluid retention. It exerts a strong alkalising influence on the body.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains:

Fucus vesiculous (Kelp) extract

equivalent to dry whole plant 600 mg

Ascophyllum nodosum (Yellow wrack)

powdered dry plant 150 mg

Total iodine content from all sources less than 300 mcg

No added gluten, yeast, milk derivatives, salt, lactose, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

Dosage

Adults: One capsule daily.

Cautions & Interactions:

Older people with nodular goitres are at risk of developing hyperthyroidism from use of iodine containing products.
